Run For The Rose
A few of us participated in the Run for the Rose last year. Its a great event and it hits home for some of our clients. I want us to be able to show up as Bayou City Crossfit and show our support.

At MD Anderson, 3 clinical trials have resulted directly from your contributions. Your funding of cutting-edge research and personalized therapy has enabled many brain tumor patients to live 5-6 years and more without recurrence and with a great quality of life. Your support of new drug development expedites the delivery of these drugs from the lab to the patient. The Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation is the only Houston foundation funding adult brain cancer research at MD Anderson.
Your funds continue to benefit the brave young patients who meant so much to our precious Marnie. At Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, in an exciting collaboration among UTHealth Medical School, Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, and MD Anderson, your funds are pioneering amazing new research to treat pediatric brain tumors.
None of this would have been possible without your generosity! The Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation now has given $2,471,000.00 to our two hospitals in just 9 years.

Shop for your Valentine, a friend or a loved one at Impromptu Houston on February 2-4, 2012, and twenty percent of all transactions will go to the Foundation.
Save the Date for Fish City Grill’s First Tuesday Benefit on February 7, 2012. Just go to the Buffalo Speedway location, and the Foundation will receive fifteen percent of the entire days sales.
Join us on Thursday, March 8, 2012, for the official Run for the Rose Kick-Off at Dimensions. A percentage of the sales from March 8-10 will benefit the Foundation.
